Yang Martini

from The Craft of the Cocktail

  • 3 ounces Gin
  • .5 ounce Sake
  • two Olive (Garnish)

Pour both ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir to chill. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with olives.

I created the Yin and Yang Martinis for a wonderful Japanese restaurant in the Waldorf Astoria called Inagiku.
