Stork Club Cocktail

from The Craft of the Cocktail

  • 1.5 ounces Gin
  • .5 ounce Triple Sec
  • .25 ounce Lime Juice
  • 1 ounce Orange Juice
  • dash Angostura Bitters
  • Flamed Orange Peel (Garnish)

Shake all the ingredients well with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the flamed orange peel.

I had this beauty on my menu for years at the Rainbow Room, but credit goes to the great Nathaniel Cook. He sounds like a Revolutionary War hero, but he was chief barman at the legendary Stork Club.
