Rye Club Cocktail

from The Craft of the Cocktail

  • 1.5 ounces Old Potrero Rye Whiskey
  • 1 ounce CuraƧao
  • dash Orange Bitters (or Angostura Bitters)

Shake all the ingredients with ice and serve over shaved ice.

A cocktail like this, served over shaved ice, is referred to as a "mist." I created this for Fritz Maytag's malted rye Whiskey.
