Ricard Tomate

  • 2 ounces Ricard
  • .25 ounce Grenadine
  • 4 to 5 ounces Water

Pour Ricard and grenadine into a highball glass. Add water and then the ice last to prevent a residue from forming on top of the drink.

A popular way to serve Ricard in France. Sounds awful, but it is surprisingly drinkable. It is important with this drink that the ice be added last to prevent an unpleasant film or scaling effect on the surface of the drink.
