Opera Cocktail

  • 2 oz. Plymouth Gin
  • 1 oz. Dubonnet Rouge
  • .25 oz. Mandarine Napoléon Liqueur
  • 1 dash House Orange Bitters

Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.

The original recipe calls for equal parts Dubonnet and gin with a splash of Crème de Mandarine. I prefer it with a little more gin. —Jacques Straub, Drinks, 1914
