Little Sparrow

  • 2 ounces Busnel VSOP Calvados
  • .25 ounce Laird's Bonded Apple Brandy
  • .75 ounce Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth
  • .5 ounce St-Germain
  • 2 dashes House Peychaud's Bitters
  • Lemon Peel (Garnish)

Stir all the ingredients over ice, then strain into a coupe. Garnish with the lemon twist.

BRIAN MILLER, 2008 I didn't think this drink would be as popular as it is, but when St-Germain is involved, you never know. I cut the calvados with a bit of Laird's because otherwise it would taste too sweet; Laird's is good for drying drinks out.—BM
