Japanese Fizz

from The Craft of the Cocktail

  • 2 wedges Pineapple
  • 2 wedges Lemon
  • 2 slices Orange
  • .5 ounce Simple Syrup
  • .75 ounce Lemon Juice
  • .75 ounce Ruby Port
  • 1.5 ounces Whiskey
  • Soda Water

Muddle one piece each of the fruits in the bottom of the mixing glass with the syrup and lemon juice. Add the port and the whiskey, and shake well with ice. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice and top with soda. Garnish with the remaining fruit.
