Golden Fizz

from The Craft of the Cocktail

  • 1.5 ounces Gin
  • .75 ounce Lemon Juice
  • 1.5 ounces Simple Syrup
  • 1 ounce (beaten) Egg
  • Soda Water

Shake all the ingredients except the soda with ice long and hard to completely emulsify the egg. Strain into a fizz or highball glass without ice, and top with the club soda.
