Cosmopolitan Delight

from The Craft of the Cocktail

  • 1.5 ounces Brandy
  • .5 ounce Curaçao
  • .5 ounce Simple Syrup
  • .75 ounce Lemon Juice
  • .25 ounce Orgeat
  • Splash of Red Wine
  • Fruit (Garnish)

Shake all the ingredients with ice and serve over ice in an old- fashioned glass. Top with a splash of red wine. Garnish with seasonal fruits. Don't be shy with the garnish – these early drinks looked like fruit salads.
