Brown Bomber

  • 2 oz. George Dickel No. 12 Tennessee Whiskey
  • .75 oz. Lillet Blanc
  • .5 oz. Suze Saveur D'Autrefois Liqueur

Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.

I substituted Tennessee Whiskey for gin in the recipe for the White Negroni and named it after Joe Louis, nicknamed the Brown Bomber of Detroit. —Jim Meehan, Spring 2008
