Apple Daiquiri

  • 2 oz. Flor De Caña Silver Dry Rum
  • .75 oz. Lime Juice
  • .5 oz. Schönauer Apfel Schnapps
  • .25 oz. Simple Syrup

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish.

Originally, we spiced the German apple schnapps with Phillips Farm apple spread from the Union Square greenmarket. The spread added complexity, but the recipe here works yearround. —John Deragon, Fall 2007
